After 7 years working together on this comprehensive project we had a Stable and Fast environment to give maintenance for four months. As the Tech Leader of platform and SRE I was responsible for integration between Promonow and Assaí teams, with dozens of external providers such as DBA, Cloud Broker, PenTesting Company, Tablets Providers, etc…
Because of necessity of high availability, scalability and specials Audits – including Government ones – I was personally and technically involved with Performance Tuning, Development of some Key Functionalities and Data Administration.
Special Features
This year we had very comprehensive changes in our working standards: firstly, through the implementation of new Governance Processes, working intensively to implement an entire new Pipeline of publication and approve flows; secondly, together with Infrastructure team we have architecture and implemented the new infrastructure environment with Blue/Green publication model with several changes in communications and integration servers.
Last but not least we had intense work on AWS RDS SQL Server to delegate to Assaí’s DBA team the responsability of data interventions, with several meetings and adjustments made in the API (C#, .Net Core) and on the Database with T-SQL, Procedures and Automated Jobs
